Slow Cooker Stuffed Bell Peppers
A simple and comforting slow cooker meal: tender bell peppers stuffed with seasoned meat, rice, and tomato sauce, cooked until perfectly soft and flavorful.
🧂 Ingredients:
4 large bell peppers, cut in half and seeded
1 lb (about 450 g) ground beef (or ground turkey)
2 cups cooked rice
2 cups tomato sauce or marinara sauce
1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or your choice)
👩🍳 Instructions:
Cut the bell peppers in half and remove all seeds.
Prepare the filling:
Mix ground meat, cooked rice, half of the tomato sauce, and half of the cheese until well combined.
Stuff each pepper half with the mixture and pack it in gently.
Place the stuffed peppers into the slow cooker.
Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the top and around the peppers.
Cook:
LOW for 4–6 hours
OR
HIGH for 2–3 hours
About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and let it melt.
Serve warm and enjoy.
