Ingredients
1 package Hawaiian sweet rolls (12 rolls)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg yolk
1/4 cup melted butter
2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar (1½ tbsp sugar + ½ tbsp cinnamon)
Powdered sugar for topping
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
Slice the sweet rolls horizontally while keeping them connected. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg yolk until smooth and creamy.
Spread the mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.
Place the top half of the rolls back on top.
Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
Let it cool slightly, then sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
Cut into pieces and serve warm.
