Homemade Italian Sausage (Easy Version)
π§ Ingredients
1 kg ground pork (about 2.2 lb)
2 tsp salt
1β2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp fennel seeds (this gives the classic βItalianβ flavor)
1 tsp garlic powder (or 3 fresh minced garlic cloves)
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp paprika (optional for color)
Β½β1 tsp chili flakes (for spicy version)
2β3 tbsp cold water (helps mix everything)

Put the ground pork in a large bowl.
Add all the spices on top.
Mix well with your hands for 2β3 minutes until everything is evenly combined.
Cover and let it rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (better flavor).
Use it as:

or fill casings if you want real sausage links
