Natural Teeth Whitening Paste with Turmeric & Baking Soda
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2–3 teaspoons coconut oil (or water if preferred)
Instructions:
Mix the dry ingredients: In a small bowl, combine turmeric and baking soda until well blended.
Add oil or water: Gradually add coconut oil (or water) until you get a smooth, spreadable paste.
Apply to teeth: Use a clean toothbrush to gently brush the paste onto your teeth in circular motions for 1–2 minutes, focusing on stained areas.
Let it sit: Leave the paste on your teeth for 1–2 minutes to allow it to work on surface stains.
Rinse thoroughly: Spit out the paste and rinse your mouth well with water. Then brush with regular toothpaste to remove any yellow residue and freshen your breath.
Use regularly: Use this natural paste 2–3 times per week. Avoid daily use as baking soda can be abrasive to enamel if overused.
Tips:
Store leftover paste in a sealed container for up to a week. If using water instead of oil, make a fresh batch each time.
Turmeric may temporarily stain your toothbrush or lips; this is normal and washes off quickly.
This is a natural home remedy and not a replacement for regular dental care—continue brushing, flossing, and dental checkups.
