For the cake:
1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)
For the cream filling:
1 cup milk
5 tbsp flour
1 cup butter (softened)
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the chocolate ganache:
1 cup chocolate chips
½ cup heavy cream

1. Bake the cake:
Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions.
Bake in two round pans and let them cool completely.
2. Make the cream filling:
In a saucepan, whisk milk and flour over medium heat until thick (like pudding).
Let it cool completely.
In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add the cooled milk mixture and vanilla, then beat until smooth and creamy.
3. Assemble the cake:
Place one cake layer on a plate.
Spread the cream filling evenly on top.
Add the second cake layer.
4. Make the ganache:
Heat the cream until hot (not boiling).
Pour over chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
5. Finish the cake:
Pour the ganache over the cake, letting it drip down the sides.
Refrigerate for about 1 hour before serving.
