Seafood Boil Recipe (Easy & Flavorful)
đź§‚ Ingredients:
1 lb (500g) shrimp (peeled & deveined)
1 lb crab legs or mixed seafood (mussels, lobster – optional)
3–4 corn on the cob (cut into pieces)
4–5 small potatoes
1 sausage (sliced)
1 onion (quartered)
1 whole garlic head (cut in half)
2 lemons (halved)
1/2 cup Cajun seasoning or seafood seasoning
1 tbsp black pepper
2 bay leaves
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
Salt (to taste)
🍲 Instructions:
1. Prepare the broth:
In a large pot:
Add water, Cajun seasoning, lemon, garlic, onion, bay leaves, salt, and pepper
Bring to a boil and let it cook for 10–15 minutes to build flavor
2. Cook the potatoes:
Add the potatoes first
Cook for about 10–15 minutes until slightly tender
3. Add corn and sausage:
Add corn and sliced sausage
Cook for 5–7 minutes
4. Add seafood:
Add crab legs and cook for about 5 minutes
Add shrimp last and cook for 3–5 minutes, until pink
👉 Do not overcook the shrimp or it will become tough
5. Drain and serve:
Drain everything
Pour melted butter over the top
Squeeze fresh lemon juice

Always cook seafood last (it cooks quickly)
Use fresh seafood for the best flavor
Add garlic butter sauce for extra richness
