Spicy Cabbage and Rice Fritters

Ingredients:

2 cups finely shredded cabbage

1 cup cooked rice (cooled)

1 egg

½ cup all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons chopped green onions

1 small carrot, grated

1 clove garlic, minced

½ teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

2–3 tablespoons water (if needed)

Oil for frying

Instructions:

In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, cooked rice, grated carrot, green onions, and garlic.

Add the egg, flour, chili flakes, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Mix everything well until it forms a thick batter. If the mixture is too dry, add a little water.

Heat a thin layer of oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Scoop a spoonful of the mixture into the pan and flatten slightly to form small fritters.

Cook for about 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

Remove and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Serve warm with yogurt, sour cream, or your favorite dipping sauce.

Tip:

You can add chopped herbs, cheese, or extra spices to customize the flavor. These fritters are crispy outside and soft inside—perfect as a snack or light meal.
