Fried Rice with Onions and Beef

Ingredients
2 cups cooked rice (preferably cold or day-old)
200–300 g beef, thinly sliced
1 large onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 eggs (optional)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Green onions for garnish
Instructions
Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced beef and cook for 2–3 minutes until browned, then remove it from the pan.
In the same pan, cook the onions until soft and slightly golden. Add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
Push the onions to one side and scramble the eggs on the other side of the pan.
Add the cooked rice and break up any clumps while stirring.
Return the beef to the pan and mix everything together.
Season with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
Stir-fry for a few minutes until everything is hot and well combined.
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
