Garlic Butter Baked Scallops

📝 Ingredients:

1 lb (450g) scallops

4 tablespoons butter, melted

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Lemon wedges, for serving

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

🔥 Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

🧼 Pat the scallops dry with paper towels (this helps them bake properly).

🧄 In a bowl, mix together:

Melted butter

Garlic

Lemon juice

Salt and pepper

🍤 Place the scallops in a baking dish and pour the garlic butter mixture over them.

🧀 In another bowl, combine:

Breadcrumbs

Parmesan cheese

Parsley

Then sprinkle this mixture evenly over the scallops.

⏱️ Bake for 10–15 minutes, until the scallops are cooked through and the topping is golden brown.

🍋 Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.

💡 Tips:

Don’t overcook the scallops—they can become rubbery.

If using frozen scallops, thaw and dry them well first.

You can add herbs or spices to taste (like thyme or paprika).
