French Toast Rolls – Ready in 5 Minutes in a Pan

Ingredients

6–8 slices of sandwich bread

2 eggs

3 tablespoons milk

2–3 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Butter for the pan

Filling of your choice (Nutella, cream cheese, strawberries, banana, etc.)

Instructions

Remove the crust from the bread slices and flatten them with a rolling pin.

Spread Nutella, cream cheese, or fruit on one side of the bread.

Roll the bread tightly to make a small roll.

In a bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together.

Dip each bread roll into the egg mixture until coated.

Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.

Cook the rolls until golden brown on all sides (about 2 minutes per side).

Mix sugar and cinnamon together and roll the hot rolls in the mixture if you like.

Serve warm with syrup, chocolate sauce, or powdered sugar.
