Baked Bean & Potato Casserole

🧺 Ingredients

4 large russet potatoes, thinly sliced

2 cans (15 oz each) baked beans

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Salt and black pepper to taste

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Lightly grease a medium-sized ceramic baking dish.

Arrange half of the sliced potatoes evenly across the bottom of the dish.

Spread half of the sliced onions over the potatoes.

Pour one can of baked beans over the layer and spread evenly.

Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, onions, and baked beans.

Drizzle the melted butter over the top.

Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.

Bake for 60 minutes.

Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the casserole, and return to the oven.
