How To Make Homemade Crunch Bars

Step 1: Prepare the Pan
Line an 8×8-inch baking dish (or a similar-sized pan) with parchment paper, leaving extra hanging over the sides for easy removal later.

Step 2: Add the Cereal
Place the crispy rice cereal into a large mixing bowl and set aside.

Step 3: Melt the Fudge Base
In a microwave-safe bowl or small saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil. Heat gently, stirring often, until fully melted and smooth. Whisk until glossy and evenly blended.

Step 4: Coat the Cereal
Pour the warm chocolate mixture over the cereal. Gently fold until every piece is evenly coated and glossy.

Step 5: Press and Chill
Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan. Press firmly into an even layer using the back of a spoon or parchment paper. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until fully set.

Step 6: Slice and Enjoy
Lift the bars out using the parchment paper and cut into squares or bars. Store in the refrigerator to keep them firm and crunchy.
